Overview
A company specializing in the delivery of complete and comprehensive certification-ready Automation, Simulation, Communication, and Ground Control Solutions seeks a Marketing Officer. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the development and execution of marketing and communications for the company.
Roles and Responsibilities
The Employee will work as a Marketing Officer and the scope of work will include, but are not limited to:
- Marketing and communication
- Generating and maintaining frequent marketing material, press releases and other material for the company website, social media platforms and email lists;
- Generating product information sheets, product descriptions and datasheets;
- Marketing directly to prospective clients;
- Organising exhibitions, workshops, and expositions;
- Organising client interactions and visits;
- Updating, modernising and maintaining Client Resource Management (CRM) facility (including sales forecasts) and Website; and
- General marketing and communication duties and administration.
- Operational administration
- Liaison with clients, including communication relating to accounts, contracts, invoices and support;
- Registration, qualification and onboarding of the company as a supplier to customer ERPs and Supplier Portals;
- Liaison with external contractors to provide social media, graphic design and website services;
- Reporting on Business Development, Marketing and Sales activities to company management and board of directors;
- Initiating and Managing Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) with potential clients;
- Maintaining Internal documents, processes and procedures related to Marketing and Sales in accordance with AS9100;
- General administration and organisational tasks such as handling supplier and service providers, assisting with travel arrangements, etc.; and
- May be required to travel locally and internationally.
Requirements
- Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Communications; or equivalent; or suitable experience in excess of 10 years.
- Required Skills and Experience
- Excellent English communication skills (both verbal and written);
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Excel etc);
- Excellent administrative & organisational skills;
- Excellent planning & coordination skills;
- Good analytical and strategic thinking skills; and
- Proactive approach to own and manage technical query processes between suppliers and company technical staff.
- Recommended Skills and Experience
- 2-5 years of relevant industry experience;
- Experience with marketing of highly technical products; and
- Familiarity with ERP systems.
