Airbus Southern Africa (Pty) Limited seeks a versatile role that combines strategic market analysis, event planning, and brand promotion within the Sub‑Saharan aerospace sector.

Responsibilities
  • Monitor the Sub‑Saharan aerospace landscape to position Airbus as an innovative local partner and safeguard the brand’s reputation.
  • Develop and execute localized marketing campaigns that equip the sales team with the targeted collateral needed to close high‑value B2B and B2G deals.
  • Lead high‑impact regional aviation events, manage promotional inventory, and foster a strong community through the proximity‑to‑customer strategy.
  • Partner with the Airbus approved supplier to ensure sufficient stock of promotional items and manage orders locally.
  • Conduct market research for the commercial and private helicopter sectors—identifying trends, competitors, and target customer segments.
  • Collect, consolidate, and analyze data on consumers, competitors, market trends, pricing/business models, and distribution methods worldwide.
  • Translate findings into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders, utilizing frameworks such as SWOT analysis.
  • Prepare and deliver high‑quality reports, presentations, dashboards, and visual aids (graphs, charts, infographics) to internal teams and senior management.
  • Handle end‑to‑end event logistics—venue selection, vendor management, budgeting, timeline development, and on‑site coordination.
  • Develop event programs aligned with client needs, secure permits, manage ticketing and registration, and act as the main point of contact.
  • Manage event budgets, invoicing, payments, and tracking; secure cost estimates and purchasing of swag bags and related materials.
  • Collaborate with internal departments (Commercial Directorate, MRO) and external vendors (caterers, photographers, design) to ensure seamless event execution.
  • Conduct post‑event follow‑ups, evaluations, and maintain relationships with vendors and sponsors.
  • Ensure promotional items are stocked for events and customer visits; update and print marketing collateral for the sales team as required.
  • Act with integrity, recognizing potential compliance risks and upholding the company’s reputation and sustainable growth.
