Octotel is an established and rapidly expanding Open Access Service Provider, specializing in Open Access & GPON connectivity. We are Cape Town’s largest Open Access Network focused on both Fibre To The Home (FTTH) and Business (FTTB). Our fibre network has passed over 350 000 homes and businesses in Cape Town. We offer a choice of services from over 65 of the country’s leading Internet Service Providers.

Job Duties

• Assisting our team with promotions and networking events as required.
• Assisting with identifying marketing/branding/activations opportunities in the Paarl and Wellington areas.
• Gathering leads for the sales team.
• Educating customers about Octotel Fibre and our products.
• Attending events to promote the company brand.
• Helping to maintain promotions/customer survey databases.
• Assist in maintaining stock room and ensuring that marketing materials are up to date and well replenished.
• Setting up events and activations from planning phase to clean-up with the assistance of our Team.
• Comfortable working in Townships, malls, door-to-door and at events.
• Needs to be well spoken and able to explain our brand and product offerings to a diverse customer base.
• Will be required to travel around the Paarl and Wellington and other outlying areas as per activation and marketing needs.
• Any other reasonable task that may be required.

Requirements

• A completed Grade 12 qualification is required.
• Must be fluent in Afrikaans.
• A minimum of 1 year in a Brand Promotions/Customer Service environment is preferred.
• Professional communication skills both written and verbal.
• Availability to work between Tuesday to Saturday 8am - 5pm.
• Comfortable and willing to travel in the Paarl, Wellington and other surrounding areas.
• Valid Driver's License is a must.
• Own reliable vehicle is required.
