About Our Client

Our Client is a dynamic group of companies operating primarily in property development. The Management Accountant will be a key member of the finance team, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting across multiple group entities and providing insights to support strategic decision-making.

Role Purpose

The Management Accountant is responsible for processing financial information for the group, ensuring that month-end procedures and processes are completed accurately, and preparing management accounts on a monthly basis. This role will provide critical financial insights to support business decisions and assist the finance team with analyses, reporting, and ad‑hoc projects as required.

Required Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • 2–3 years’ experience in accounting or management accounting (ideally within property development)
  • Proficiency in Xero is essential; experience with Smartsheets and QuickBooks is advantageous
Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare monthly management accounts for all entities within the group
  • Ensure month‑end close procedures are completed accurately and on time
  • Process and reconcile financial transactions across multiple entities
  • Assist with budget preparation, forecasts, and variance analysis
  • Support financial reporting, including key performance metrics for management
  • Provide ad‑hoc analyses and assist with special finance projects as needed
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and statutory requirements
  • Maintain accurate financial records and assist with audit preparation
  • Liaise with other departments to gather financial information and provide actionable insights
