Job summary

A leading manufacturer of sustainable packaging solutions is seeking to fill a role focused on the effective operation of machinery to meet production output and quality targets. Responsibilities include performing visual checks on equipment, reporting maintenance issues, and ensuring compliance with SHEQ standards. Candidates should have a Matric with Maths or Maths Literacy and proficiency in English, plus 1 to 2 years of related experience would be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Matric or equivalent with proficiency in Maths and English.
• 1 to 2 years of experience in a similar role is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Ensure effective operation of allocated machines to meet production and quality targets.
• Perform basic visual checks on machines before production.
• Report maintenance issues timely and maintain SHEQ standards.

Responsibilities

To be responsible for the effective operation of the machine(s) / process(es) allocated in order to achieve the planned OEE, production output and quality targets. This includes performing basic visual checks on the machine(s) / equipment prior to production, reporting any maintenance or other problems timeously, and ensuring that SHEQ standards are maintained.

Qualifications

• Matric with Maths or Maths Literacy (50% min) and proficiency in English, as well as computer literacy.
• 1 to 2 years experience in a similar environment would be an added advantage.
