Job description

A leading global consumer products company seeks a skilled logistics professional to oversee day-to-day warehouse operations in their Boksburg plant.

The ideal candidate will have expertise in inventory management, customer service, and supply chain optimization.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory levels, smooth inbound and outbound flows, and high service levels to customers.

They will lead warehouse resources, optimize capacity, drive 5 S and EOHS practices, and continuously improve processes to reduce costs and increase reliability.

Run daily warehouse operations and relationships with 3 PLs: resolve stock discrepancies between plant and warehouses (WMS), manage inbound / outbound flows, ensure CHEP pallet availability, maintain housekeeping and MHE readiness.

Lead warehouse resource and performance management: oversee capacity / utilization, supervise warehouse staff (including temporary staffing), conduct weekly 5 S audits.
