Job description

BOND STORE

• Ensure allBar Packing specifications are followed, and all bar sheets are recordedaccurately and kept for 12 months.
• Ensurethat all shipments received is checked in and reported on the relevant systems
• Workclosely with clearing agents to ensure effective running of the Bond Store
• Ensurethat all administrative work is completed accurately and filed for auditpurposes.
• Ensurethat the Bond Store Store is always audit ready
• Ensurethat the Bond Store is SARS Customs ready and SARS compliant at all time

EQUIPMENT

• Ensure that the daily Box times are met asper the required box times.
• Ensure that the relevant Linen is availableat all times before truck departure, if it is not delivered by the Laundrycompany, you are required to call and enquire to ensure that there is no delayencountered
• Ensure that all equipment is packed as perGLP’s including dead head’s
• Ensure that all equipment packed is clean andfree from chips or being broken
• Responsible for the movement of all airlineequipment to correct allocations and stored in the designated areas as per thedepartment specification.
• Ensure that equipment carts is packedaccording to clients Equipment loading plan (ELP) and issued to subordinatesdaily.
• Ensure that the correct GLP’s areplaced securely on the carts.
• Check and sign the GLP’s.
• Take pictures of the GLP’s for recordpurposes.
• Ensure the equipment breakages arerecorded and reported to the manager.
• Ensure that equal exchange ofequipment is followed & that excess equipment is returned back to customerwith prior notification and documented for stock reports and ensure thatclients are notified when stock levels are low.
• Ensure that clients are notified whenstock levels are low and shortages are recorded for future complaints.
• Ensure that the kitting process’s arefollowed.
• Ensure that all equipment are coveredwith plastic in their respective cages.

DISHROOM

• Ensure that all machines are cleanedat the end of each shift
• Check that all trolleys are washed andstored correctly in holding area.
• Ensure correct chemicals are usedduring the washing process
• Check that crates are available andclean
• Ensure that chemicals are ordered andstored correctly. Further ensure that the chemicals are used according toinstructions and safety of oneself is adhered to at all times.
• Ensure that all documentation iscompleted, this includes CCP, breakage, temperature controls, incoming counts,stock requisition, chemical issues etc.
• Ensure that Halaal, Kosher and generalequipment are washed separately as per their requirements
• No local substitutions must be madeunless written instruction has been given to you by a manager to do so.
• Ensure that ovens & oven racks arewashed and stored correctly for production kitchen
• Ensure that the department is managedand controlled efficiently in line with the company’s requirements.
• Ensure that the Dishwashers arecleaned daily
• Ensure that the Unit’s Dishroom planis followed daily and effectively.
• Ensure FIFO of trolley’s
• Ensure the trolley bath process isused effectively daily for each flight
• Report any pest sightings immediately

GENERAL

• Any other reasonable task that may berequired by Top Management
