Logistics Consultant job vacancy in Stellenbosch.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Supporting new business development initiatives by identifying opportunities to expand transporter and client networks
• Adding new transporters and updating insurance
• Opening and sending of contracts and collection of signed contracts
• Collecting POD’s
• Supplier payments
• Loading of transport invoices
• Develop relationships with transporters and clients
• Keeping clients informed regarding status of cargo
• Follow-up with trucks to determine ETA
• Communication with suppliers and loading points
• Handle everyday logistical challenges
• Weekly planning of truck movements and delivery
• Updating system from loaded to delivered
• Sending of load cons
