Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain and reconcile all creditors (business and trust) accurately and timeously.
  • Reconcile all trust and business banking accounts daily.
  • Handle and reconcile petty cash transactions.
  • Journalise transactions to trust and business accounts.
  • Capture payments and process receipts as required.
  • Administer and manage client investments, including Section 86(4) investments, across banking platforms.
Requirements
  • 3–5 years of financial accounting experience within the legal sector (essential).
  • Qualifications: Matric required; relevant tertiary qualification advantageous.
  • Experience with LegalSuite software (advantageous).
  • Strong knowledge of creditors, petty cash management, journals, bank reconciliations, and Section 86(4) investments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
