Purpose Statement

To partner and consult with business units regarding learning and development initiatives, aligning with and enabling the achievement of the client's people plan by collaborating with the Strategic People Partner to support the implementation of strategic HR initiatives – shaping a learning and performance‑driven culture and fostering team cohesion within the business.

Experience – Minimum
  • At least 5 years’ experience in one or more areas within Learning and Development, with a strong understanding of HR business acumen.
  • Stakeholder management, especially engagement at senior management and executive level.
  • Broad experience and proven capability across the L&D skills development landscape; design, development, performance consulting and support, learning tools, channels etc./value chain.
  • Acting as a meta‑practitioner, driving innovative practices and serving as a thought leader in the field of Learning and Development.
  • Working in collaboration with the Strategic People Partner (SPP) to formulate BU budgets and align learning initiatives.
  • Experience in building and developing effective teams.
Experience – Ideal
  • Learning and development business partnering.
  • Experience in the same or a similar industry.
Qualifications (Minimum)
  • A relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources or Education.

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or Education.
