Job summary

A leading logistics company in Durban seeks a Manager for QS & Estimating to provide expertise to their Programme Management Office. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Quantity Surveying, at least 10 years of relevant experience, and be responsible for leading a team of Quantity Surveyors, ensuring adherence to project governance, and managing commercial controls. Qualifications

• B.Sc Degree or higher specializing in Quantity Surveying, professional registration with the SA Council of Quantity Surveying Professionals.
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor on large construction projects.
• At least 5 years in a lead QS role, preferably in the hydrocarbon industry.

Responsibilities

• Lead Estimator for TPL, ensuring project estimates are prepared according to industry practices.
• Develop and implement commercial controls and procedures.
• Manage team resources for timely completion of deliverables.
• Engage in strategy workshops for PMO development.
