Job description

Overview

To perform the necessary quality control test and checks as stipulated in the QC manual to ensure that all products manufactured conform to the quality standards of Premier.

Responsibilities

• To timeously and accurately conduct quality control checks and tests on incoming raw material, in-process product and finished/packed goods to achieve quality standards as per the SOP.
• To timeously ensure that testing equipment are in good condition to ensure accuracy of results.
• To analyse and record the results to verify whether the products are within specification and inform line and/or supervisor accordingly.
• To timeously and accurately conduct line trials and experiments assisting R&D to contribute to quality improvements, innovation and new product developments.
• To timeously and accurately conduct internal and external shelf-life evaluations to verify shelf-life and product quality.
• To maintain general standard of housekeeping and safety to meet GLP standards.
• To ensure Food Safety (FSSC 22000) adherence.
• To ensure that the OHS Act is complied with.
• To ensure timeous and accurate results capturing onto LIMS.
