We are working with a London‑based specialist recruitment firm operating within the insurance and financial services market, who are looking to hire a Graduate / Junior Research Associate to support their growing research and recruitment function. This is an entry‑level role, ideal for a recent graduate or someone with around 6–18 months’ experience in research, data, recruitment, or a similar analytical environment.

The Role

You will support senior recruiters by researching the insurance market, mapping talent, maintaining accurate datasets, and providing clear market insight to support live recruitment projects and business development activity. This is not a sales role, but a critical support function that underpins successful recruitment delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research professionals and organisations within the insurance market using LinkedIn and other sources.
  • Build and maintain structured datasets in Excel and CRM systems.
  • Map talent pools and track career movements and hiring trends.
  • Support live vacancies by identifying suitable candidates and producing shortlists.
  • Provide clear, concise summaries and market insight to consultants.
  • Monitor industry news, job postings, and market activity.
About You
  • A recent graduate or early‑career professional (approx. 0–2 years’ experience).
  • Strong attention to detail and interest in data and research.
  • Confident using Excel and LinkedIn.
  • Organised, methodical, and comfortable managing multiple tasks.
  • Clear written communicator with a curious mindset.
  • Able to work independently in a remote environment while supporting a UK‑based team.
