They are currently seeking a Junior Production Manager (Citrus) who is eager to build a long‑term career in commercial citrus production and contribute meaningfully to the success of a high‑performing farming unit.

Minimum Requirements

• Energetic, hardworking and self‑driven individual with a strong passion for citrus farming.
• Minimum of 2 years’ relevant practical and technical experience in citrus production.
• Ability to function under pressure and apply sound, rational decision‑making.
• Strong people skills with above‑average communication ability at all levels.
• In‑depth understanding of all citrus cultivation practices.
• Computer literate in Microsoft 365.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in Agriculture.
• Solid knowledge of fertilisation and spraying practices.
• Experience with ultra‑low volume irrigation systems will be advantageous.

Key Responsibilities

• Reporting to the Unit Manager, the successful candidate will assist in managing a production unit of approximately 160 hectares.
• Establishment, production, labour, packhouse coordination and cost management.
• Farm maintenance management and administrative duties.
• Disease and pest control.
• Fertilisation and irrigation management (pump houses and electronic systems).
• Overseeing and assisting with citrus harvesting operations.
