To coordinate and manage the end-to-end logistics of heavy haulage and cross-border transport, ensuring safe, efficient, and compliant delivery of loads.
Qualifications and Minimum Requirements:
- Diploma or degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 1–2 years’ hands‑on experience in logistics, preferably in heavy haulage and cross‑border transport
- Strong understanding of route planning, diesel management, and driver management
- Knowledge of permits, escorts, and cross‑border documentation
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Teams
- Knowledge of Korridor BDC is advantageous
Key Performance Areas:
- Coordinate heavy haulage logistics, including abnormal loads such as B40s, dump trucks, graders, front‑end loaders, crushers, and buckets
- Plan and manage cross‑border trips, including route planning, permits, escorts, and manifests
- Brief and debrief drivers on trip instructions, safety protocols, load specifics, and documentation requirements
- Monitor diesel usage, calculate requirements, and manage diesel orders and budgeting
- Track vehicles using the online tracker system and provide client updatesManage permits and escort services, both in‑house and outsourced, ensuring compliance and efficiency
- Ensure complete and accurate PODs for all deliveries, meeting regulatory and client requirements
- Maintain and update WIP records daily, including expenses, diesel usage, and trip changes
- Prepare reports and manage administrative tasks related to logistics operations
