Salary: R8,000 – R9,000 per month (Depending on experience)

Overview

Our client, an established IT service provider based on the East Rand of Johannesburg, is looking for a Junior IT Technician to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity for a young, enthusiastic individual with a passion for technology to gain hands-on experience and grow within the IT support industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide on-site and remote IT support to clients across the East Rand
  • Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues
  • Assist with installations, configurations, and upgrades of systems and equipment
  • Maintain service documentation and reports
  • Support senior technicians with projects and client servicing
  • Ensure timely and professional customer service at all times
Requirements
  • A passion for IT with a background or basic experience in technical support
  • Own reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s license
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
  • Strong willingness to learn and grow in the field
Advantageous (Not Required)
  • IT-related qualification or certification (e.g., A+, N+, or similar)
  • Previous experience in a helpdesk or junior technician role
