SA - Western Cape, Garden Route. R30 000 (CTC). An established law firm in Groot Brak is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Conveyancing Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in property transfers and conveyancing processes, with 2–5 years’ post-admission experience. Applicants willing to relocate are also welcome.

Minimum requirements
  • LLB Degree and Admitted Attorney & Conveyancer
  • 2–5 years’ proven experience working as a Conveyancer
  • Strong knowledge of conveyancing processes and property law
  • Proficiency in LexisConvey, GhostConvey, and AJS (or similar conveyancing software)
  • Excellent drafting, reviewing, and communication skills
  • Ability to manage files independently from instruction to registration
  • Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities
  • Handle the full range of conveyancing matters including transfers (conventional, sectional title, deceased estates, and developments), bond registrations and cancellations, liaising with clients, estate agents, banks, and the Deeds Office
  • Draft and review legal documents and agreements
  • Ensure compliance with all statutory requirements and timelines
  • Maintain and update files accurately on LexisConvey / GhostConvey
  • Provide professional support and guidance to clients throughout the process
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and contribute to the smooth running of the conveyancing department
