About the Role

To manage the process registration, amending and updating the compliance of entities on various statutory body platforms. To process and review cashbooks and prepare them for submission to various statutory bodies as per client requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Receiving tasks allocated via internal system, updating task progress, and reporting to line managers and/or clients on task progress.
  • Attending weekly "Catch-Up" session to provide task progress, feedback on allocated tasks.
  • Collection of client documents to process cashbooks onto internal system.
  • Registration, maintenance and updating of clients on various statutory body platforms.
  • Creating invoices and/or credit notes for all tasks allocated and communicating invoices with clients via telephone, Whatsapp and/or email.
  • Attending to and following up on queries, outstanding information related to allocated and/or unallocated tasks.
  • Attending to documentation management and control (filing).
Minimum Requirements
  • South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
  • Must not have participated on the YES programme before.
  • Matric.
  • Bookkeeping or accounting qualification plus knowledge in relevant software package.
  • Good standard of education including English and Maths (or equivalent).
  • Sound understanding of statutory returns.
  • Good knowledge of general administrative processes.
  • Good understanding of organizational processes and practices.
  • Relevant experience in a related role.
  • Statutory returns (required).
