A leading assurance and consulting firm is seeking a recent graduate in accounting or auditing for a role based in Port Elizabeth. The successful candidate will provide audit support within the Service Delivery Centre, work with experienced managers, and develop key skills in a professional environment. This role requires strong organizational abilities and effective communication, with a focus on delivering exceptional client service.

Role Summary:
To provide superior assurance services within the Service Delivery Centre (SDC) Africa team. The SDC provides audit support to audit teams across Africa
Please note that this role is based in Port Elizabeth and is not a remote role
Qualifications / Certifications required:
Completed Diploma or Degree in Accounting or Auditing
Experience required:
One years’ relevant experience in an Auditing environment would be advantageous
Responsibilities of role:
Work under the supervision of a Manager;
Perform general auditing functions according to PwC methodologies including but not limited to: Bank confirmations
Investment confirmations
Group deliverables
Receivable confirmations
Checking and casting of financials
Obtain/coordinate and summarize ISA 402 supporting documentation;
Perform test of details/test of controls;
Work within budget allocations;
General administration;
Invite and provide evidence-based feedback in a timely and constructive manner;
Share and collaborate effectively with others;
Work with existing processes/systems whilst making constructive suggestions for improvements;
Validate data and analysis for accuracy and relevance;
Follow risk management and compliance procedures;
Keep up-to-date with technical developments for business area;
Communicate confidently in a clear, concise and articulate manner - verbally and in written form;
Seek opportunities to learn about other cultures and other parts of the business across the Network of PwC firms;
Uphold the firm’s code of ethics and business conduct.
