Position: Junior Accountant

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and excellent analytical skills. This is a full-time permanent position with opportunities for growth and development within the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day accounting tasks such as accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger entries
• Prepare and maintain financial records including journal entries, bank reconciliations and monthly financial reports
• Participate in the month-end close process ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial statements
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting processes
• Support the preparation of tax returns and compliance with tax regulations
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions
• Contribute to the development and improvement of accounting processes and procedures
• Provide support for audits and other financial reviews
• Stay updated on accounting regulations and standards to ensure compliance

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (SAP, QuickBooks, etc.)
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• CPA certification is a plus
