Overview

We are recruiting for an ICT Private Sector Sales Consultant role. Responsibilities include identifying new business opportunities, building client relationships, and contributing to the growth of company revenue. The role focuses primarily on selling to private sector clients.

Key responsibilities
  • Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the private sector to expand the customer base.
  • Sell complementary IT solutions, including software applications, hardware, and IT infrastructure products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure ongoing satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Conduct client needs assessments and product demonstrations in coordination with technical teams.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to prepare pricing, proposals, and documentation for tenders and RFPs.
  • Achieve assigned sales targets and contribute to monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue goals.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of SAP product offerings, technology trends, and market competition.
  • Log sales activities and client interactions in CRM or internal sales tracking systems.
  • Represent the company at industry events, networking functions, and client meetings as needed.
Minimum Technical Skills and Qualifications
  • National Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, IT, Business, or a related field (or currently studying part-time)
  • 3 -7 years of sales or client-facing experience, preferably in IT or technology solutions
  • Basic understanding of technology, software, or ERP systems
  • Experience working with private sector clients or understanding of procurement cycles.
  • Familiarity with CRM tools is advantageous.
