Job Title: IT Sales Account Manager US Market

Location: South Africa (Remote)

About the Role

We are looking for a strong IT Sales Account Manager who can confidently lead customer calls, manage relationships, and support our business development efforts. This role requires someone who can represent the company in front of clients, understand their needs, and drive the sales process through to contract finalization.

Key Responsibilities

Front‑end all client calls, discovery discussions, presentations, and follow‑ups during lead generation, appointment setting, and business development cycles.

Proactively identify and qualify new leads through outbound outreach, referrals, and inbound enquiries.

Set up and manage client appointments with qualified prospects and drive initial discovery conversations.

Understand customer requirements and align appropriate IT services, staffing, or technology solutions accordingly.

Build, nurture, and manage long‑term client relationships from first interaction to ongoing account management.

Collaborate with internal teams to prepare proposals, pricing models, and service agreements.

Drive the end‑to‑end sales process from first contact and lead qualification through contract negotiation and closure.

Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records in the CRM, including pipeline, follow‑ups, and deal status.

Identify upselling and cross‑selling opportunities within existing and new accounts.

Work closely with leadership to support business growth in South Africa and international markets.

Required Skills & Experience

57 years of proven experience in IT Sales, Account Management, Business Development, or Solution Selling.

Hands‑on experience in lead generation, appointment setting, and customer‑facing sales conversations.

Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to confidently engage senior stakeholders.

Experience handling calls with international clients (US/UK exposure preferred but not mandatory).

Good understanding of IT services, staffing solutions, or technology‑driven offerings.

Solid negotiation, objection handling, and contract management skills.

Self‑driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a target‑oriented and performance‑linked environment.

Nice‑to‑Have Experience working with global staffing, IT services, or tech solutions companies.

Familiarity with CRM tools (HubSpot, Zoho, or similar).

Understanding of sales cycles for IT services or managed services.
