Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Integration Technician to help bring complex electronic systems to life. In this role, you will assemble, integrate, and test advanced systems and components, interpreting wiring diagrams, fabricating wiring harnesses, conducting diagnostic checks, and troubleshooting system-level issues to ensure peak performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assembly & Integration: Assemble and integrate various electronic components, such as sensors, control units, and custom electronics, into diverse platforms.
  • Wiring & Fabrication: Interpret engineering drawings and schematics to fabricate, route, and terminate wiring harnesses for prototype and production systems.
  • Testing & Verification: Conduct continuity, insulation resistance, and functional tests using equipment like oscilloscopes and multimeters to verify system performance.
  • Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex electrical and integration issues during development and production phases.
  • Documentation & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of assembly, testing, wiring updates, and discrepancies for design iteration and quality assurance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with engineers and other technicians to develop and execute system-level tests and assist with flight or system tests.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate, maintain, and calibrate test instrumentation and infrastructure to ensure reliability and accuracy.
Requirements
Experience & Knowledge
  • 5 years' professional experience as a Integration Technician
  • Electronics Fundamentals: Understand electrical concepts like current, voltage, resistance, and how various components (capacitors, diodes, resistors, transistors) work and interact.
  • Circuit Analysis: The ability to read and interpret electronic circuits and schematics is essential for troubleshooting and repairs.
  • Component-Level Repair: Proficiently diagnosing and repairing faulty parts at a component level, which often involves using a hot station and having strong soldering skills.
  • Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: A systematic approach to identifying and locating faults in electronic equipment by using testing equipment and understanding normal operating conditions.
  • Electronic Equipment: Familiarity with a range of tools and equipment, including oscilloscopes, multimeters, and specialized systems used in specific industries.
  • Software and Hardware: Technical proficiency with computer hardware and software, including the diagnosis and repair of IT components and systems.
Skills
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of electrical principles and the ability to work with electronic components.
  • Interpreting Technical Documents: Proficiency in reading and understanding complex engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics.
