Job summary

A leading recruitment agency is seeking an Immigration Specialist to manage the end-to-end immigration and visa application processes for clients. You will be responsible for preparing and reviewing documentation, advising on immigration laws, and liaising with government entities. Ideal candidates should have a diploma in a related field and 2–5+ years of experience in immigration or HR roles. Strong administrative skills and fluency in English are essential for this role.

Qualifications

  • 2–5+ years experience in immigration, legal, HR, or compliance roles.
  • Experience dealing with government immigration authorities.
  • Background in compliance, legal, or HR environments preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end immigration and visa application processes.

  • Track application progress and handle follow-ups.

Location: Woodmead, Johannesburg

Salary: R22 000/month

Job Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end immigration and visa application processes for employees, clients, or individuals.
  • Prepare, review, and submit immigration forms, permits, and supporting documentation.
  • Advise clients/employers on immigration laws, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Liaise with government departments, embassies, consulates, and legal representatives.
  • Track application progress and follow up on delays or additional requirements.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international immigration regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records, case files, and confidential documentation.
  • Assist with audits, inspections, and compliance checks.
  • Support relocation processes including work permits, residency, and citizenship applications.

Requirements / Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Law, International Relations, HR, or related field
  • Certification in immigration practice (advantage)
  • 2–5+ years experience in immigration, legal, HR, or compliance roles
  • Knowledge of local and international immigration regulations
  • Experience dealing with government immigration authorities
  • Strong administrative and documentation experience
  • Background in compliance, legal, or HR environments preferred
  • Fluent in English; additional languages an advantage
