Our client, an established company within the financial sector is seeking to hire a highly skilled and experienced HR Practitioner to join their team.

Qualifications
  • Formal Education: Relevant Bachelors degree in Human Resources
  • Experience: A minimum of five years of relevant post-qualification experience in a similar role is required.
Responsibilities
  • Recruitment and Selection: Assist management with job descriptions, conduct grading and benchmarking activities, assist management in the interview process ensuring compliance to company policies, assist management with the internal transfers and promotions, employee on‑boarding and termination.
  • Legislative Compliance: Assist the HR Manager to ensure compliance with legislation that includes Basic Conditions of Employment, Employment Equity, Skills Development and Occupational Health and Safety; act as skills development facilitator and conduct responsibilities associated to it inclusive of WSP, ATR and liaison with Setas; maintain good labour relations.
  • Employee Development: Assist management with probation management, prepare Individual Development plans and Management Development where applicable, coordinate the Knowledge Hub sessions, assist management with the development and implementation of a succession plan.
  • Employee Relations: Assist with first level disciplinary action, assist management with poor performance management.
  • Performance Management: Coordinate and maintain the Performance Management System, ensure KPA and KPI alignment with Job Descriptions, provide Performance management report to management, ensure that the outcomes of the performance management are incorporated in the Individual Development plans.
  • Transactional Activities: Provide inputs to payroll, assist with activities as required with regards to employment equity, compilation of monthly and quarterly HR reports, general administrative support, capture all relevant information on HR administrative system, ensure updated leave record system, ensure adherence to HR policies and procedures.
