HR Coordinator position available in Newcastle.
An opportunity for a junior to mid-level HR Coordinator is available for permanent employment based in Newcastle.
Industry: Security Services / Armed Forces / Policing.
Salary: Market related R15 000 kpm (Junior / Intermediate role).
Start Date: As soon as possible.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Screen cvs for the receptionist to call people for interviews
- Handle all employment contracts, to ensure its completed correct with all supporting documents and filed in a correct manner
- Create and explain each positions duties with clear understanding to new employees
- Book and arrange relevant training if needed e.g. medical tests, first aid
- Ensure Payroll is captured properly, from checking of attendance register to calculating hours worked to uploading the finalised timesheets on payroll software
- Book hearings for defaulting members
- Create proper reports with all information needed for CCMA cases
- Handling employees queries and complaints with professionalism
- Issue out Monthly UIF forms
- Assist with monthly rosters being prepared for the following months
- Ensure employees are following the company code of conduct
- Submission of provident fund claimsEnsuring all month end reports and submission are done after payroll to the relevant institutions
- Maintaining file system is kept Inorder daily
- Ensure labour related procedure are followed and kept updated for the company
Requirements:
- HR certification (diploma or degree)
- Experience in the similar role with CCMA exposure
- Ability to diffuse all HR matters in a professional manner
- Good understanding of the requirements of the law, disciplinary hearings etc
- Own car with valid licence
- Computer literate
- Newcastle residency
