Job Title: Home School Teacher (Remote Lodge – Northern Zambia)

Location: Northern Zambia

Contract Duration: 6 months (Starting January 2026)

Job Overview

Our client is seeking a dedicated individual to deliver the Wolsey Hall online curriculum (Cambridge) to four children (Years 3 & 4) in a remote lodge setting in Zambia, Lake Tanganyika. This role is ideal for a teacher passionate about education, outdoor living, and cultural experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate the structured Wolsey Hall curriculum, ensuring student progress.
  • Provide individualized instruction and support, fostering an engaging learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching methods to suit students' needs and encourage independent learning.
  • Communicate with parents to align on educational goals and student progress.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Comfortable working in an isolated environment and enjoys their own company.
  • Passionate about education, even if not formally qualified as a teacher.
  • Appreciates the outdoors and has a global perspective.
  • Responsible, independent, and adaptable to remote living conditions.
Compensation & Benefits
  • $1500 nett per month
  • Includes food and accommodation at the lodge and access to lodge facilities (gym; kayaking; etc.)
  • Access to car over weekends if wanting to do a trip into town.
  • Assistance with necessary permits for Zambia.
