Job description
Purpose of the Role

To lead the design, optimisation, and alignment of business operations with strategic goals by improving processes, enhancing productivity, and ensuring effective delivery of business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement business enablement and transformation strategies in partnership with internal teams.

  • Business Process Reengineering: Identify opportunities to redesign and automate processes to improve efficiency, quality, and operational effectiveness.

  • Process Improvement: Lead initiatives to standardise, digitise, and optimise processes across the organisation.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with departments to identify gaps, understand requirements, and implement sustainable solutions.

  • Project Management: Oversee and execute projects and strategic initiatives, ensuring delivery within scope, time, budget, and quality standards.

  • Project Landing & Change Management: Ensure successful adoption of business solutions, including facilitation of change management strategies and interventions.

  • Team Leadership: Mentor and guide team members to achieve strategic objectives and personal development goals.

Requirements
  • Postgraduate qualification (NQF 8) in Commerce, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

  • Minimum 10 years’ relevant experience, including at least 5 years in senior management roles.

  • Proven track record in project and/or programme management from feasibility to implementation.

  • Strong understanding of process reengineering principles, systems development life-cycle methodologies, and project/change management frameworks.
