Responsibilities
- Provide strategic financial advice and guidance to the Group CEO, Executive Management Team, and Board of Directors to support long-term capital structuring and strategic objectives.
- Act as a key advisor on all finance matters, facilitating the achievement of business goals across various operations.
- Lead the establishment and management of financial planning, budgeting, KPI management, and commercial evaluation policies to optimize revenues and profitability.
- Oversee the consolidation of financial plans and monitor performance against budget, identifying areas for improvement and capitalizing on opportunities.
- Direct the accurate cash flow projections and efficient cash management for the Group to ensure optimal investment returns and execute dividend policies.
- Manage financial risk through enterprise-wide risk management, including the development and monitoring of risks and the strategic placement of insurance and hedging instruments.
- Lead and ensure optimal insurance protection for all company assets and employees.
- Direct timely reconciliation of bank accounts in accordance with regulations (including OHADA and IFRS) and standards, and develop annual accounts in coordination with internal and external auditors.
- Develop and oversee the execution of the Group's tax strategy.
- Lead the Finance function, setting individual objectives, managing performance, recruiting qualified staff, and fostering development and motivation.
- Direct and oversee the development and implementation of IT strategies and policies to ensure effective achievement of business objectives and the maintenance of state-of-the-art technology.
Requirements
- CPA or CA qualification.
- In-depth and expert knowledge of statutory and internal financial management standards.
- In-depth knowledge of accounting theory, financial control theory, and philosophy.
- Thorough understanding of cash management theory and techniques.
- Sound understanding of IT systems opportunities and limitations.
