ABOUT THE ROLE
Opportunity Group is seeking a highly skilled and creative Graphic Designer with a minimum of five years’ professional experience to join our growing marketing team. The ideal candidate is a design thinker with strong visual communication skills, a passion for branding, and the ability to translate strategic objectives into visually compelling content.
You will work across multiple brands within the Opportunity Group, including property, development, construction, and corporate divisions. This role requires both conceptual strength and meticulous attention to detail, with the versatility to deliver design solutions across digital, social, print, and experiential environments.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Branding & Creative Development
- Develop and maintain brand identities for various Opportunity Group companies and sub-brands.
- Create cohesive design systems, brand guidelines, and visual assets.
- Conceptualise and execute high-quality creative for campaigns, product launches, and brand engagement.
Digital & Social Media Design
- Design visually engaging content for Meta, Google, LinkedIn, email campaigns, websites, and social media platforms.
- Create graphics, animations, and short-form visual storytelling elements.
- Adapt and optimise design assets for multiple screen sizes and digital formats.
Marketing & Sales Collateral
- Design brochures, presentations, proposals, property development packs, floorplan layouts, signage, and advertising materials.
- Produce print-ready artwork following correct technical specifications.
- Assist in creating internal and external communication materials.
Property & Development Design Support
- Translate architectural and development briefs into compelling sales and marketing visuals.
- Collaborate on digital mockups, renders, development branding, and launch materials.
Creative Conceptualisation
- Participate in brainstorms and creative strategy sessions.
- Deliver conceptual thinking for campaigns, brand stories, and visual directions.
Cross-Department Collaboration
- Work closely with Marketing, Sales, Property Development, Construction, and Management teams.
- Ensure creative solutions align with brand and business objectives.
Project & Workflow Management
- Manage multiple design projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Maintain organised file structures, naming conventions, and version control.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 5 years of professional experience in a graphic design role.
- Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field (advantage).
- Strong design portfolio demonstrating a range of creative capabilities across digital and print.
TECHNICAL SOFTWARE SKILLS (Required)
Adobe Creative Cloud (Expert Level)
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe InDesign
- Adobe XD / Figma (UI design proficiency beneficial)
- Adobe After Effects (motion graphics is a strong advantage)
- Adobe Premiere Pro (basic video editing preferred)
Digital Marketing & Content Tools
- Canva (high-level proficiency)
- Mailchimp or other email design platforms
- Meta Business Suite creative formatting knowledge
- Google Workspace & Microsoft Office (for layouts, presentations, and cross-team collaboration)
Presentation Tools
- PowerPoint / Google Slides — ability to create clean, branded presentations.
Project & Asset Management Tools
- Trello, Asana, Monday.com, or similar workflow platforms
AI DESIGN & CREATIVE TOOLS (Required Knowledge)
A modern designer must understand and incorporate AI workflows.
AI Creative Tools
- Midjourney or DALL·E (AI-generated imagery concepts and ideation)
- Adobe Firefly (generative fill, smart object expansion, and AI-assisted retouching)
- RunwayML (video enhancement or creative AI tools)
- ChatGPT (copy refinement, idea generation, and conceptual support)
AI Workflow Capabilities
- Ability to integrate AI into concept development, moodboarding, mockups, and enhancing creative efficiency.
- Understanding of ethical, stylistic, and brand-safe application of AI tools.
