Key responsibilities include:
  • Driving global commercial strategy to maximise profitability and sustainable growth
  • Leading pricing models, commercial frameworks and margin optimisation initiatives
  • Overseeing new business tenders, contract negotiations and renewals
  • Managing key customer and supplier commercial relationships
  • Providing commercial oversight across joint ventures and M&A activity
  • Delivering commercial insights, analytics and reporting to inform executive decision‑making
  • Leading and developing a high‑performing commercial team
The ideal candidate will bring:
  • A relevant degree in finance, economics, or a related field
  • At least 10 years’ experience in commercial or finance roles, including senior leadership exposure
  • Strong experience in pricing, commercial modelling, contracts and negotiations
  • Advanced financial analysis and strategic decision‑making capability
  • Proven ability to lead complex, multi‑stakeholder environments
  • Mining or heavy industry experience will be beneficial
