The Role
The FP&A Analyst will play an integral role in supporting the Group Financial Planning & Analysis function through the compilation, interpretation, and presentation of financial performance across the Group for the Board, Executive Committee, and other senior stakeholders.
This position offers exceptional exposure across FP&A’s full value chain management reporting, business intelligence (BI), forecasting, budgeting, analytics, and financial strategy and provides a rare opportunity to learn how a multinational finance function drives strategic decision‑making.
The successful candidate will work directly with senior finance leaders, contribute to key analyses and presentations, and develop advanced technical and commercial skills in a fast‑paced, high‑performance environment. The role is designed for a numerically minded, inquisitive, and ambitious professional with 1–2 years of experience who is eager to grow into a full FP&A capacity over time, gaining deep exposure to corporate performance management, data analytics, and strategic financial planning.
Qualification & experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Basic understanding of accounting and financial statements.
- Strong proficiency in Excel (formulas, lookups, pivots) and PowerPoint (professional formatting, charting).
- Analytical mindset, curiosity, and comfort with numbers and ambiguity.
- Professional communication and stakeholder‑handling skills.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learn new tools and concepts.
You will be a good fit if you have
- Experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar).
- Exposure to coding or data analytics (Python, SQL, Power Query).
- Familiarity with AI tools for data analysis or automation.
- Previous internship or entry‑level experience in Finance, FP&A, or data analytics.
Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting & Executive Presentations
- Prepare and refine high‑impact management and CFO decks for Board and executive meetings.
- Synthesise inputs from multiple business units into cohesive, insight‑driven narratives.
- Develop clear visual storytelling through charts, trends, and data summaries.
Financial Analysis & Data Insights
- Analyse group financial performance, identify variances, and assist in crafting commentary that explains key business drivers.
- Extract, clean, and reconcile data from ERP, BI, and other systems to support management insights.
- Contribute to development and maintenance of BI dashboards and analytical models.
- Work closely with the Revenue Assurance team to flag and report large inter‑month movements.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration
- Engage directly with Controllers, FP&A specialists, Revenue Assurance, and senior stakeholders to clarify financial queries and data inconsistencies.
- Support the budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes through data validation and analytical preparation.
- Support commercial finance team and grow understanding of commercial finance.
Automation & Process Enhancement
- Identify opportunities to streamline and automate recurring FP&A activities using Excel, Power Query, AI, or coding solutions.
- Participate in continuous‑improvement initiatives that elevate reporting quality and speed.
Learning & Development
- Build technical capability in BI tools, data analytics, and financial modelling.
- Develop an understanding of strategic finance concepts and how financial insight influences business decisions.
