Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations including journals, reconciliations and invoicing.
• Manage month‑end and year‑end processes with full reporting accuracy.
• Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, income, audit and cash flow.
• Ensure accurate billing for all direct bill accounts with complete documentation.
• Maintain strong internal controls to prevent revenue leakage and protect assets.
• Verify all revenue through PMS, POS and inventory systems.
• Support the CFO with budgets, forecasts and financial analysis.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Provide operational managers with financial guidance and insights.

A large hospitality resort is seeking an experienced Financial Controller to manage the daily finance operations, ensure strong controls, and deliver accurate reporting.

You will support the CFO with analysis, budgeting, and compliance while working closely with Operations to maintain financial discipline across the property.

Minimum Requirements

• Completed BCom degree in Finance / Management Accounting / Accounting.
• 5 or more years of finance experience.
• 2 years of experience as a Financial Controller in a resort or similar environment.
• Proficient in accounting software preferably Sage.
• Strong MS Office proficiency.
• Experience with PMS, POS and inventory systems.
• Able to work extended hours during month‑end and stock cycles.
• High accuracy, strong control mindset and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills to support operational managers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day finance operations including journals, reconciliations and invoicing.
