Job description

Position : Financial Analyst

Working Hours : 8:00am to 5:00pm (PST)

Monthly Salary : $2500 to $3000 per month depending on experience

Location : Remote (preferred: South Africa)

Responsibilities

• Financial Modeling & Analysis
  • Build and maintain detailed financial models to support forecasting, budgeting, and decision-making.
  • Conduct unit economics analysis to evaluate the efficiency and profitability of business operations.
  • Provide scenario and sensitivity analyses to guide investment and resource allocation.
• Business & Strategic Support
  • Partner with leadership to evaluate new business opportunities, partnerships, and market expansion plans.
  • Support board-level reporting with clear financial insights and executive-ready presentations.
  • Track KPIs and performance metrics, offering recommendations for improvements.
• Data Management & Reporting
  • Collect, validate, and analyze financial and operational data.
  • Prepare dashboards and management reports for ongoing visibility.
  • Ensure accuracy and clarity in data used for decision-making.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (Master's preferred).
• 5+ years of experience in financial analysis, investment banking, corporate finance, or M&A.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and strong deck-building skills (PowerPoint/Google Slides).
• Strong grasp of unit economics, P&L management, and business modeling.
• Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
• Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.
