Job summary

A recruitment agency is seeking an organized and professional office and financial administrator for a vibrant FMCG production plant outside of Paarl. Candidates must have 3-5 years of experience in debtors, creditors, and wage processing, as well as handling administrative tasks for the management. Essential skills include proficiency in Pastel/SAGE and Excel. The role requires immediate availability and might include working extended hours during peak periods.

Qualifications

  • Experience in dealing with retailer accounts and managing invoices.
  • Required knowledge in Pastel/SAGE and Excel.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the Director and farm manager.

  • Answer the switchboard and ensure stock availability for the shop.

Our client, a small but fast paced FMCG production plant, based on a farm outside of Paarl, seeks to employ a vibrant, organized and professional office and financial administrator for their organization.

Please note that this role does require a candidate who can start immediately and who is resident in Paarl or nearby surrounding areas. In addition, you may be required to work alternative Saturdays during peak periods and extended hours during month end.

KEY REQUIREMENTS TO MEET FOR CONSIDERATION
  • You will have completed Matric, coupled with 3-5 years experience in Debtors, Creditors and monthly wage processing, as well as providing administrative support to the Director and farm manager.
  • You will have experience in dealing with small and large retailer accounts, processing credits, creating invoices, managing petty cash and ensuring correct payments are made to suppliers.
  • You will have experience in obtaining quotations from suppliers, answering the switchboard and ensuring the small factory shop has sufficient stock for walk-in customers.
  • Experience in Pastel/SAGE and Excel is essential.
  • You will have a list of contactable references, a clear credit and criminal record (verifications will be contacted).
