About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly capable Finance Administrator to support the financial stability and operational efficiency of the business. The role is crucial in ensuring accurate billing, clean and up-to-date accounts, efficient supplier processing, and strong financial controls. Success in this position directly contributes to improved cash flow, reliable reporting, and seamless day-to-day operations.

Requirements & Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage Accounts Receivable and ensure accurate daily billing
  • Oversee Accounts Payable, including supplier payments and invoice processing
  • Complete accurate bank, supplier, credit card, and petty cash reconciliations
  • Maintain strong financial controls and support month-end and audit processes
  • Deliver reliable financial reporting to support management decisions
  • Resolve client and supplier queries professionally
  • Support general finance and office administration to ensure smooth operations
Minimum Skills & Knowledge Requirements
  • Strong numerical and analytical ability
  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Proficient in Xero, Receipt Bank, and financial systems
  • Strong organisational and time-management abilities
  • Ability to interpret financial data and identify discrepancies
  • Solid understanding of accounts payable/receivable processes, accounting principles, reconciliations, financial controls, and audit preparation
Experience Requirements
  • 3–5 years’ experience in finance, accounting, or bookkeeping
  • Proven experience in AR, AP, reconciliations, and high-volume processing
  • Hands‑on experience with accounting systems (Xero preferred)
  • Experience handling client and supplier financial queries
  • Exposure to month-end processes including journals, accruals, and reporting
  • Experience working within structured financial processes and documentation standards
