What you’ll do at Elekta

As a Field Service Engineer based in Cape Town, you will play a critical role in supporting Elekta’s mission by installing and maintaining cutting-edge oncology equipment. This home/office/site-based role requires extensive travel across South Africa and occasional international assignments. You’ll be a trusted expert working with leading-edge medical technologies and building meaningful relationships with healthcare professionals.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Independently performing installations and corrective maintenance on Elekta systems
  • Diagnosing and repairing issues down to board level or below
  • Managing your own workload and prioritizing customer needs
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of Elekta’s service portfolio
  • Coaching and training junior colleagues (once trained)
  • Delivering excellent customer service and representing Elekta’s values
  • Participating in feedback loops to improve the customer experience and product reliability
