Salary £55,000k – £60,000 pro rata

Our client is seeking an experienced Family & Private Client Solicitor on a consultancy basis. This role is ideal for a self-supervising solicitor with experience in all areas of private family law, including surrogacy law, as well as wills probate, and Lasting Powers of Attorney (LPAs).

Key Responsibilities

• Handling a broad range of family law matters, including divorce, financial relief, and children proceedings.
• Advising and representing clients on surrogacy and assisted reproduction law.
• Managing private client matters, including drafting wills, handling probate cases, and preparing LPAs
• Conducting casework independently with minimal supervision.
• Providing high quality legal advice and ensuring excellent client care
• Supervising or mentoring junior staff where necessary.

Requirement

• Qualified Solicitor (England & Wales) with at lease 5 years PQE in family and private client law
• Strong experience in private family law, including financial and children matters.
• Expertise in surrogacy law and assisted reproduction matters.
• Proven track record in wills, probate and LPAS.
• Self-supervising with the ability to manage caseloads independently.
• Strong communication and client management skills.
