Job summary

A leading mining company based in Mokopane, Limpopo, is seeking an experienced explosives manager. Responsibilities include managing explosives safety and compliance, conducting audits, and providing training to staff. Ideal candidates will possess a Grade 12 qualification, Magazine Master Certificate, and at least two years' experience in explosives application and management. Qualifications

  • 2 years’ experience in explosives application, management, and control.
  • In-depth knowledge of all relevant legislation (Mine, Health & Safety Act and Explosives Act).
  • Any previous CIE experience and training is advantageous.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the order, receipt, and issue of explosives.
  • Conduct inspections and compliance checks for transport and storage of explosives.
  • Provide training and coaching to staff on explosives management.

Certificate/diploma in Explosives management or Blasting Engineering
