Key Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality standards in preparing and serving beverages to our discerning guests.
• Deliver exceptional guest service, fostering a welcoming and professional atmosphere at our coffee stations and bars.
• Ensure impeccable cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of work areas at all times.
• Maintain inventory levels of coffee, milk, syrups, and consumables, reporting shortages promptly.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, health, and sanitation regulations.
• Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally.
• Collaborate with colleagues in the F&B team during peak service periods.

Requirements

• South African citizenship is mandatory.
• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Barista in a hotel, restaurant, or cafe within the last 2 years.
• No employment gaps exceeding 5 months unless valid reasons are provided.
• A Matric certificate (Grade 12) is required.
• Strong knowledge of coffee preparation, espresso machines, grinders, and milk texturing.
• Knowledge of teas, smoothies, juices, and specialty beverages is advantageous.
• Ability to work under pressure while maintaining exceptional service quality.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Professional appearance and reliability are essential.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including early mornings, weekends, and public holidays.
