Overview

The Events Specialist is responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering all events within the precinct and the broader portfolio. This includes large-scale public, paid-for events, client activations, as well as internal corporate functions.

The role demands a detail-oriented professional with strong project management skills, the ability to juggle multiple deadlines, and a deep understanding of current event trends. In addition, this individual will manage sponsorship activations and provide support for various initiatives.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver on-brand, high-impact events that align with business and marketing goals.
  • Plan and manage the full events calendar.
  • Conceptualize event themes, source venues, manage logistics and suppliers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams for seamless execution.
  • Execute both large-scale public events and internal functions.
  • Oversee all aspects of event execution including run-of-show, health & safety compliance, JOC approvals, insurance, PL cover, permits, and risk management.
  • Manage sponsorships, guest experiences, and corporate communications for internal events.
  • Build strong sponsorship relationships and ensure mutual value is delivered.
  • Identify and engage potential sponsors.
  • Oversee activation plans and brand alignment.
  • Monitor deliverables and post-event reporting for partners.
  • Support the Foundation's community initiatives through effective events.
  • Collaborate with the Foundation team on planning and rolling out CSI-linked events.
  • Ensure alignment with brand and community development goals.
  • Stay abreast of event trends, technologies, and audience preferences.

Requirements
  • Degree in Events Management, Marketing, Public Relations, Hospitality, or related field.

  • 5+ years of proven experience in planning, managing, and executing both public and internal events.
  • Demonstrated experience with end-to-end event logistics, stakeholder coordination, and supplier management.
  • Experience working with sponsorships and/or community initiatives is essential.
