Job summary

Job description
Key performance areas
  • Provide a service to residents by sharing information, answering questions and offering advice and guidance
  • Preserve and enhance the residential ambience and lifestyle within the Estate
  • Ensure that all parties are aware of applicable rules (residents, visitors, employees, builders, contractors and general service providers) and that rules are applied in a tactful and professional manner
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with estate rules regarding contractors and service providers, vehicles, use of estate facilities, property appearance, neighbour relations, animals and pets, and general conduct on the estate
  • Conduct regular inspections of the estate to ensure compliance with HOA rules
  • Pro‑actively identify, investigate and address problems and issues
  • Respond promptly to incidents and complaints
  • Engage in formal correspondence in the form of letters, emails, notices, etc.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient record‑keeping and reporting
Requirements
  • Minimum Grade 12 certificate (relevant tertiary qualification will strengthen the application)
  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role (homeowners’ association, customer service, public relations, hospitality services, compliance management, etc.)
  • Knowledge and understanding of the functions of residential estate management
  • Excellent communication skills in English and Afrikaans
  • Organised and methodical, with a strong work ethic, time management and project management
  • Professional, tactful, and composed under pressure, with strong conflict‑resolution and problem‑solving skills
  • Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, and Excel)
  • Valid driver’s licence (code 10 and PDP will be added advantages), own reliable transport, and clean criminal record.
