Our client is looking for a talented and driven Equity Analyst to join a prestigious investment team. This is a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in the execution of an income-focused investment style, working directly with the Chief Investment Officer (CIO) to contribute to the success of our portfolios and funds.

Responsibilities
  • Market Analysis: Conduct comprehensive economic, company, and security analysis to inform investment decisions.
  • Research & Reporting: Provide in-depth research and analysis of the investable universe to the investment committee.
  • Execution & Administration: Accurately implement trade decisions and manage portfolio liquidity, cash, and daily administration.
  • Process Improvement: Proactively identify and implement improvements to our investment process to enhance efficiency and minimize errors.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage professionally with both internal and external clients and service providers to ensure excellent portfolio management.
  • Reporting: Fulfil all reporting requirements accurately and within deadlines.
Experience and Qualifications
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience as an equity analyst is required.
  • Experience in analyzing financial or industrial companies is highly desirable.
  • An appropriate degree (honors preferable) with a quantitative focus, such as Finance, Accounting, or Investments, is essential. A CFA qualification would be a significant advantage.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is a must.
  • You must meet FAIS requirements or be willing to write the Reps exam.
  • Demonstrated financial modeling skills are required.
