Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary Position

A vacancy exists for Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary (x1) reporting to the Unit Manager based at Black Rock Clinic.

This role will assume responsibility for efficient, professional service rendered to Life Health Solution Black Rock clinic in terms of assisting the Occupational Health Clinic with Audiometry, Spirometry and Vision screening, capturing, coordination and quality assurance of the statistics data, reports and general administration tasks.

Location: Inland North | Northern Cape

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Occupational Health Clinic as Medical Technicians doing Audiometry, Spirometry and Vision Screening
  • Maintain an efficient, up-to-date tracking and filling system
  • Drug testing
  • Regular communication with Colleagues, Clinic Sisters, Operational Managers, Regional Managers and Clients.
  • Conduct monthly audits to ensure accuracy of data captured.
  • Assist with investigation and analysis of statistics errors, queries and complaints and implement corrective action within agreed turnaround times.
  • Assist with reasonability, equality assurance and accuracy analysis on all data, reports and statistics system.
  • Book appointments
  • Handle ad hoc tasks as required.
Requirements
  • Enrolled Nursing Auxiliary Qualification – SANC Registration (non‑negotiable)
  • Certificate in Audiometry (non‑negotiable)
  • Certificate in Spirometry (non‑negotiable)
  • Certificate in Vision Screening (non‑negotiable)
  • Certificate in multi‑drug screening test
  • Basic Life Support
  • Register at HPSCA with compliance on CPD and CPG
  • Advanced MS Excel experience (Pivot Tables, formulas, graphs, etc.) and excellent understanding of MS Office and general computer skills
  • Working experience in a mining environment
  • Good administrative skills and attention to detail
  • Patience, appropriate assertiveness, deadline driven, good organisational skills and the ability to implement new ideas
  • Initiative, logical thinking and analytical ability essential
