Enrolled Nurse – Medical

Mediclinic Southern Africa invites applications for an Enrolled Nurse to support the quality of nursing care within the medical ward. The role is on-site, permanent and will begin on 01/12/2025.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, quality nursing care in collaboration with the multi-disciplinary team.
  • Identify, prevent and report risks to ensure patient safety.
  • Facilitate a positive patient experience by creating a conducive environment.
  • Provide accurate and comprehensive records of all nursing interventions.
  • Participate in creating a learning environment that builds staff competence.
  • Ensure that all utilised stock and equipment are accurately charged.
  • To deliver safe, quality nursing care according to the Scope of Practice.
Education

Essential Education: Enrolled Nurse Certificate

Desired Education: CPD courses in specific speciality area for specialised wards.

Experience

Essential Minimum Experience: None

Desired Experience: 1 year post qualification experience before placement in a specialised unit.

Working Relationships

Internal: Hospital Clinical Team
External: Patients, doctors, allied healthcare providers and support staff
