Job Title : Enrolled Nurse

Location : Kempton Park

About the Role

Our client, a reputable and well-established General Practice based in Kempton Park, is seeking a dedicated Enrolled Nurse registered with SANC to join their team.

The ideal candidate will perform basic nursing duties and health assessments in line with professional standards and scope of practice.

Key Responsibilities
  • Take and record patient vital signs, such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration.
  • Conduct patient assessments and implement care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Preparing and assisting the General Practitioner with minor procedures.
  • Administering medication (setting up IV lines, IMI injections).
  • Wound management - Cleaning and replacing dressings on wounds and surgical sites.
  • Taking notes on medical history and symptoms.
  • Drawing of blood - adults and children.
  • Provide emotional support and demonstrate empathy and patience, especially with long‑term care patients.
  • Professional communication with families and the patient.
  • Completion of patient records and medical aid administration.
  • Deliver high‑quality nursing care.
