Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in electrical panel manufacturing, construction, or industrial projects preferred.
• Strong familiarity with electrical schematics and control schematics.
• Knowledge of compliance requirements (e.g. IEC, SANS).

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical and control boards.
• Maintain knowledge of competitive advantages and supplier pricing.
• Analyse electrical schematics and produce accurate estimates.
• Obtain and evaluate accurate quotes for electrical components.
• Estimate labour costs related to panel wiring and assembly.
• Resolve cost discrepancies by analysing supplier and project data.
• Work closely with engineering, procurement, and production teams.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
