The Role: Electrical Design Engineer
You’ll play a critical role in the design and execution of control and automation systems, from initial concept to final commissioning. The role involves producing accurate electrical designs, working closely with various internal and external stakeholders, and contributing to project success with technical input and documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Design motor control centers (MCCs), PLC, and control systems
Produce drawings using AutoCAD Electrical and E-Plan
Generate QC documentation, IO lists, cable schedules, and parts lists
Liaise with the Engineering Manager on design alignment and quality
Collaborate with suppliers, clients, workshop, and installation teams
Support project tracking with basic project management tasks
Perform red-lining and support the build and installation phases
About You
National Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics
1 - 2 years of experience using AutoCAD Electrical and E-Plan
Solid understanding of electrical panel building
Practical knowledge of motor control and PLC design
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Detail-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
Basic project management experience is a plus
