Job summary

King David High School Linksfield, is seeking a dynamic, innovative and highly experienced Educational Psychologist with relevant qualifications, for this position.

The essential qualities, skills and requirements for the position are:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ working experience as an Educational Psychologist.
  • Have the ability to assess learners’ cognitive, emotional, and social development through observation, interviews, and testing.
  • Ability to identify barriers to learning (e.g., ADHD, dyslexia, anxiety, trauma) and recommend and implement strategies or interventions.
  • Provide emotional support and coping strategies to learners struggling with stress, behaviour, or personal challenges.
  • Have a passion for working with adolescents with barriers to learning.
  • Can work in a multidisciplinary team and create collegiality within the school.
  • Have strong interpersonal skills enabling effective communication and interaction with colleagues, parents and students.
  • Prepared to embrace the ethos of a Jewish Day School.
