Position Summary

To drive Nespresso’s Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business performance by owning and developing Nespresso-owned digital platforms (B2C & B2B). Translate global eCommerce strategy into local execution, ensuring best-in-class customer experience, sustainable growth, and strong commercial results across all digital touchpoints.

• Drive DTC Business Performance & Customer Experience
  • Own the performance of Nespresso’s DTC eCommerce platforms (B2C and B2B) in the local market
  • Ensure continuous monitoring and analysis of digital performance (traffic, conversion, AOV, retention, CLV)
  • Leverage consumer, market, and platform insights to identify growth opportunities and optimize the end-to-end digital journey
  • Ensure a seamless, consistent, and premium customer experience across all digital touchpoints
  • Lead activation plans to drive acquisition, engagement, and retention of the Nespresso consumer base
  • Partner with Marketing, CRM, Supply Chain, IT, and Customer Service to deliver integrated omnichannel initiatives
  • Ensure timely and high-quality execution of global and local campaigns, product launches, and promotions on DTC platforms
  • Continuously collect feedback from consumers and internal stakeholders to improve the digital journey and conversion
Strategy, Innovation & Commercial Ownership
  • Translate global eCommerce and DTC strategy into local market initiatives that drive profitable growth
  • Identify and lead digital innovation opportunities, including platform enhancements, new functionalities, and testing of new business models
  • Stay up to date with eCommerce trends, digital best practices, and competitor activity to maintain Nespresso’s premium positioning
  • Own and manage E-Commerce business cases and initiatives, ensuring clear ROI and alignment with strategic priorities
  • Collaborate closely with HQ and other markets to share best practices and align on roadmap priorities
Department & Management Responsibilities
  • As a member of the local Management Team, contribute to strategic and tactical decisions impacting overall business performance
  • Own and manage the eCommerce P&L, including revenue, margin, CAPEX and OPEX, in collaboration with Finance
  • Ensure optimal resource allocation and investment decisions within the Operational Planning (OP) process
  • Drive efficient ways of working in line with company guidelines and operational plans
  • Act as the end-responsible for DTC eCommerce performance and results in the local market
People & Performance Management
  • Attract, develop, and retain top digital talent through coaching, feedback, and structured development plans
  • Build a high-performing, collaborative team with a clear sense of purpose and shared goals
  • Set clear performance objectives aligned to business priorities and monitor progress using the PDP methodology
  • Lead by example in terms of Nespresso Leadership Framework (NLF) behaviors and safety leadership
  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and high-performance culture that reflects Nespresso’s values
What will make you successful
  • Degree in Business, Marketing, Digital, E- Commerce or equivalent
  • 5–6 years’ experience in DTC eCommerce or Digital roles, ideally within FMCG or premium/luxury brands
  • Strong commercial acumen with proven experience driving online sales and conversion
  • Solid experience managing digital platforms, performance analytics, and customer journeys
  • End-to-end exposure to eCommerce operations including UX, CRO, CRM, digital marketing, and platform optimization
  • Proven leadership and stakeholder management experience
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate strategy into execution
